Do you feel balanced in your day-to-day life? Are you able to find balance between activity and rest? To find that balance we have to learn to slow down and take stock of all that is going on.

When you go inward and balance your internal feelings and thoughts, you can better balance all that is going on around you. In order to be able to learn how to be open to receiving from the world around you, you have to be able to settle yourself and relax.

Join Yoga Teacher Matthew Sanford and Greater Los Angeles VA Physician Indira Subramanian in this 10-minute video where Sanford guides a meditative practice to support relaxation and finding balance within.

I’VE TAKEN THOSE CLASSES AND THEY WERE GREAT IN MY ANXIETY AND PTSD RIDDEN LIFE SINCE MILITARY SERVICE. THEY LITERALLY SAVE MY LIFE FROM GIVING UP ON LIFE OR SUICIDE. ONLY WITH GOD IN MY LIFE HAS I BEEN ABLE TO CONTINUE TO LIVE DAY BY DAY WITH THE REMINDERS OF MILITARY RAPE WITH A WEAPON USED TO INTIMIDATE ME TO GIVE IN. BUT GOD HAS BEEN ON MY SIDE EVEN THOUGH MILITARY WAS NOT AND SWEPT THE VICIOUS RAPE UNDER THE CARPET OF INSTITUTIONAL RACISM.
