Army Veteran Bryan Smethurst served in Afghanistan and overcame addiction stemming from post-traumatic stress disorder.

After growing up near a Naval community in Port Orchard, Washington, Logan decided to enlist in the Army at the encouragement of his cousin. Logan worked his way to become an NCO.
