A Korean War Veteran was honored for his bravery and commitment during the 75th anniversary of Korean War Armistice.

Hero’s Bridge is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving Veterans 65 and older. Molly Brooks, the CEO and founder of Hero’s Bridge, stood up and said, “Not one more Vet will live out their golden years in lonely hardship.”

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Marine Corps and Air Force Veteran Joe Foss, who fought during the Battle of Guadalcanal and earned a Medal of Honor.

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran Walter “Wally” Schirra Jr., who served as a Navy pilot during World War II and the Korean War before becoming a NASA astronaut.

This week's @America250 salute is Army Veteran Van Barfoot, who received the Medal of Honor during WWII.
