This week’s America250 salute is Navy Veteran Jimmy Carter, who served as a naval radar officer before becoming the 39th president of the U.S.

During National Native American Heritage Month, today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran James E. “Willie” Williams, a Vietnam War Medal of Honor recipient.

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy and Army Veteran Dylan Perez, who served as a Reservist and electronics technician from 1992 to 2016.

Cmdr. Ernest E. Evans captained the USS Johnston which sank during the Battle of Leyte Gulf. For his actions, he was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran Harry Beal, who was one of the first Navy SEALs and served as an underwater demolition team instructor.
