Brent Thompson spoke to about his decision to join the Navy, the major influence his father had on him, and his journey founding a successful brewery.

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran Evan Messiha. He graduated from Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in Arabic.

Steven enlisted in the Navy and attended basic training in Great Lakes, Illinois. He completed the Naval Special Warfare Preparatory School.

Today’s co-#VeteranOfTheDay are Navy Veterans James and Valarie Hoover. James served from 1977-1981. Valarie served from 1977-1979.

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor Alfred “Uncle Al” Rodrigues. Al served during World War II from 1940-1945.

Following the start of the Korean War in 1950, Jim Hansen enlisted with the U.S. Navy. He served from 1951-1955. He went on to serve as congressman in Utah.

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran and Former President George Herbert Walker Bush. He served as a pilot during World War II.

On December 7th, 1941, while finishing a graveyard patrol, Ray Chavez and his crew spotted the periscope of a Japanese submarine.

Timothy was born in 1963 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He enlisted in the Navy in 1980 and completed basic training in San Diego, California.

Lucius Nash was born in 1892 in Illinois. He originally enlisted in the Navy Reserves in August of 1917 as an Electrician First Class.

Solomon Atkinson became a training instructor for the Navy SEALs and had the opportunity to train 48 astronauts, including Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong.
